One size does NOT fit all when it comes to eyeshadow!

You watched that youtuber do her eyeshadow so perfectly and it makes her eyes look AMAZING. Then you try to do it.....

BUT BUT BUT!! You did everything just like she said??? Well even if you primed your eyes correctly (see this post on how to!), you most likely don't have the same eye shape or color as that same person and so it will look a lot different on you than her! This is why you need to be able to pinpoint your eye shape and make sure you know the best tips and tricks for really bringing out those gorgeous baby blues (or browns! or greens! or hazels!!!).
Check out this chart here on some different techniques for a few that I've narrowed down for you. AND keep in mind, you could have a combination of any of these things so it may come in time withpractice but this should be a great place for you to start!

Here are some fun examples for you!

My cute friend here has downturn/monolid eyes so we brought the outer corner up with the darker shades and then created a higher crease for her so all our work didn't get lost once she opened up her eyes.

My gorgeous friend Jennifer has beautiful deep set eyes so we made sure not to take the darkest crease color all the way across so her eyes didn't sink even more back.

Evi has these stunning round and partially hooded eyes so we did a darker color on the outer crease to keep an almond shape and a lighter shimmer all over the lid to show off the lids and open her eyes up a little more!
